What We Do
vbScores is a volleyball tournament management website that eliminates the need for paper scoresheets.
We are currently designed for one-day formats starting with pool-play followed by bracket-play. We are working continuously to add capabilites for custom built multi-day events.
How it works... During the tournament, players on the 'work' team perform scorekeeping on an mobile device. Everyone else just sits back and watches. Whether you are in a diffent city, at the other end of the gym, or just don't have a good view of the court-side scoreboard, the score is instantantly available on your mobile device.

All registered users have free access to match results, standings, information about regions, clubs and teams, as well as the ability to view the live scores of tournaments that use vbScores for scorekeeping.
All you have to do is set up an account. You can use your Facebook, Google (gmail), or Twitter account to set up an account in one click!
A Scorekeeper is what makes vbScores work. It provides all the information that fans and tournament directors need during an event. With this information, attendees can monitor the progress of their pool even if they are at lunch or hanging out at the other end of the gym!
A player who is added to a team's roster automatically becomes a scorekeeper for that time at no cost. If someone else would like to perform scorekeeping for a team, a Scorekeeper subscription can be added on an monthly or annual basis.
Players have the option of creating a profile with their contact information, which can include a link to highlight video if they have one posted elsewhere (like YouTube). With a player profile subscription, coaches (with Coach Access) are able to identify players they see on the court. Access to the player's profile is controlled by the player.
What a coach sees...
Team Admin
A Team Admin is responsible for maintaining a team's contact and coach information as well as the team record and roster. Once the roster has been created, then any match scored with vbScores wil automatically pull the roster for quick lineup entry by the scorekeepers. If a team doesn't create a roster, then scorekeepers on the work-team will not like you because they will have to manually enter your line-up before each set.
Club Admin
A Club Admin is responsible for the club's general info and has the ability to add and delete teams from the club. A Club Admin subscription allows the club to create a hub for quick access and monitoring of of the club's teams with links to each team's detail page.
Region Admin
A Region Admin is responsible for the region's general info and has the ability to add and delete clubs from the region.
A Tournament Director is responsible for building the tournament for live-scoring. Scores are posted by scorekeepers, but subject to verificaiton by the Tournament Director. The tournament director can monitor pool progress and designate pool finishes from a tablet device.
A Coach Access Pass allows access to contact information for players who have a posted a Player Profile. With a Coach Access Pass, a coach can walk up to a court, tap the player's number and have immediately access information about players she/he may be interested in. If the player does not have a Player Profile, or the player turns off access to their personal contact information, then personal data will not be available.

User accounts are the foundation of vbScores, therefore each user has an ID that is recorded with EVERY entry that you make on the site. If you enter information that is inappropriate, then it will result in an immediate and permanent suspension of your account.
DO NOT LET FRIENDS ACCESS VBSCORES WITH YOUR ACCOUNT because YOU are fully responsible for action done under your account.
